‘Cortijos’- southern Spain typical farmhouses, normally dedicated to agricultural exploitation and bull breeding. ‘Haciendas’- Andalusian huge ranches. ’Viñedos’- vineyards. ‘Ventas’- Andalusian Inns. House- Palaces in the old town of Cádiz built during the golden centuries when commerce with the West Indies attracted merchants into town and established here. Most of them include a watchtower to be able to oversee the ships coming into port. Cadiz skyline still preserves up to 139 of those watchtowers and give rooftops a moorish resemblance. YOU NAME IT!- Around the Cadiz region there are some incredible rustic architectural examples from the 15th and 16th centuries plus many amazing building locations and landscape locations.
